The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT; German: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie) is an elite public research university in the German state Baden-Württemberg and a national research center in the Helmholtz Association that is one of the largest educational institutions and the largest research institution by funding in Germany.
